WASHINGTON, DC— Today, Emily Randall was sworn in as a member of the United States House of Representatives to represent Washington state’s 6th Congressional District during the 119th Congress.
U.S. Representative Emily Randall succeeds Rep. Derek Kilmer, and makes history as the first woman and first person of color to represent the 6th District, the first LGBTQ person in Washington’s Congressional delegation, and the first queer Latina ever to serve in the United States Congress.
