WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Emily Randall (D, WA-06) pressed U.S. Forest Service Chief Tom Schultz on the Trump Administration’s decision to close 57 out of 77 U.S. Forest Service research labs, including two in Washington state, ahead of the 2026 wildfire season.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the bipartisan Fiscal Year 2027 appropriations bill for military construction and Veterans Affairs by a vote of 400-15. This is the first appropriations bill passed by Congress for FY2027. Congresswoman Emily Randall successfully got 11 amendments included into the bill to support military families across Washington’s 6th district.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Congresswoman Emily Randall (D, WA-06) introduced a War Powers Resolution to end President Trump’s war in Iran and reassert Congress’ constitutional authority to declare war. Earlier this week, a top Pentagon official testified that the conflict has now cost American taxpayers $29 billion.
