Internship Opportunities
Congresswoman Randall offers paid internships for motivated individuals in her D.C. and District Offices. These internships allow young professionals to gain unique experience working for an elected official, see the legislative process up close, and support Washington’s 6th District. Interns will have the opportunity to expand skills in policy research, learn the art of legislative correspondence, gain experience in responding to various constituent phone calls and concerns, and assist the casework team, as well as other duties as assigned. The goal of our internship program is to give interns skills that will help them excel in the job market while connecting them with professionals that can help them advance their career goals.
There are three Internship sessions per year: Winter/Spring, Summer and Fall. Internships are 120-day service commitment, compensation would be $1,950 per month. You must be a U.S. citizen with a birth certificate to apply. Unfortunately, no DACA or TPS residents can be interns per U.S. House of Representatives guidelines. Preference will be given to Washington 6th District and Washington applicants, if you do not have ties to the state we will still consider your application. Additional benefits, including commute/milage reimbursements to and from the office, are available.
