WASHINGTON, D.C — Today, the House Oversight Committee voted (38-2) to advance Congresswoman Emily Randall’s (D, WA-06) bipartisan Federal Program Integrity and Fraud Prevention Act of 2025. The legislation, co-led by Congressman Keith Self (R, TX-03), would prevent individuals convicted of federal fraud and theft crimes tied to federal programs from continuing to access taxpayer-funded contracts, grants, loans, and other federal assistance.

BREMERTON, WA — Today, Congresswoman Emily Randall (D, WA-06) alongside U.S. Senators Maria Cantwell (D-WA), ranking member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, and Patty Murray (D-WA), vice chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $15 million in federal funding for Kitsap Transit to construct a new regional bus-driver training facility. The funding comes from the Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Transit Administration (FTA).

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Emily Randall (D, WA-06), alongside Ferry Caucus Co-Chairs Representatives Nick Begich (R, AK-At-Large), John Garamendi (D, CA-03), and Nicole Malliotakis (R, NY-11), introduced the Federal Enhancement and Revitalization of Reliable Infrastructure for Essential Seaways (FERRIES) Act. The bill would significantly increase federal investments in ferry systems, providing long-term, predictable funding for ferry operators that connect communities across the country.

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Congresswoman Emily Randall (D, WA-06) and Congressman Robert J. Wittman (R, VA-01), introduced legislation to make Tribal governments eligible to apply for grants under the Defense Community Infrastructure Program (DCIP).

TACOMA, WA — Today, Congresswoman Emily Randall (D, WA-06), cohosted a community vigil outside the Tacoma NW ICE Detention Center alongside OneAmerica, immigrant rights advocates, local elected officials, and community members. The gathering honored those who were killed by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents, and those who lost their lives while in ICE custody. Rep. Randall attempted to complete her 7th Congressional Oversight Visit at the facility prior to the vigil. She was illegally denied entry.
